A large drinking glass or beaker with an applied trailed and coggled foot ring and trailed and coggled decoration mid body. Probably Dutch or German first half of the 17th century. While the glass is fully intact save for a tiny piece of the trailed decoration missing, the glass does unfortunatley have what appears to be a pontil crack that travels through the pontil on the base. Still a very rare and early survivor and it displays beautifully. Height 17.78 cm (7 inches) top diameter: 12.06 cm (4.75 inches).
