A Central European  enameled wedding beaker circa late 17th century having a second gather applied at the base with spiked ribbed gadrooning. Height 7.6 centimeters (3 inches). This rare little gem was part of the infamous Krug collection sold by Sotheby's London in 1981. A full page of the catalog was devoted to it, page 48 of volume II of their four volume hardbound set. Excellent condition.
