This is truly a remarkable bottle that was patterned in a 15 rib mold. The ribs were then pinced into five vertical rows of pointed ovals alternating with vertical ribs. At the bottom the design transitions into a diamond pattern. This is the same technique as nipt diamond waies but done in a creative and unique way. It took a very clever blower to come up with this pattern using a mold with an odd number of ribs! To me this bottle represents the 17th century glass blowers art at its very best! Undamaged. Height about 20.5 centimeters (8 inches).
